We are excited to announce our upcoming in-person International Women’s Day event on the 7th March 2024; taking place from 1:15 pm to 3:30 pm at Theatre A and the Drum Foyer, University Place.
The theme for this year's event is "Inspire Inclusivity," we invite you to join us for an afternoon of celebration.
We are delighted to host a panel of speakers including Professor Rachel Cowen, University Lead for Equality Diversity and Inclusion (Gender and Sexual Orientation), Faye Coleman, who is the co-lead and allyship officer for GM4Women and also leads the Women@Manchester student network strategy, Dr. Laura Winter, Associate Director for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the School of Environment, Education and Development at the University of Manchester and Lee Chambers, a business psychologist and male ally
There will be a BSL interpreter available for the speeches.
We will also be joined by Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, and our co-chairs; Dr Lin Ma and Emma Shiels, following the event refreshments will be served and there will be time for networking.
This event is open to all members of the Women@Manchester network, as well as anyone who is passionate about fostering inclusivity, empowering women, and promoting well-being!
